Schloss Hanfelden
PölstalThe jewel in the Pölstal.
The renaissance Hanfelden Castle is a castle building in the district of Unterzeiring in the municipality of Pölstal in Styria that essentially dates from the 15th century. The building, which is still largely as Georg Matthäus Vischer showed it in 1681, has been a listed building since 1965 and is a special architectural and monumental jewel due to its unadulterated authentic preservation. Particularly well known is the so-called Maximiliansstube (Maximilian's Room) with the inscription about the king's visit to Zeiring, made about 100 years after Maximilian's visit.
