Skiregion Hohentauern
Hohentauern"Small but nice" is how Ski Hohentauern presents itself. 30ha of slopes, wide, groomed ski slopes, no waiting times at the lifts, 11 km of slopes of all levels of difficulty from blue, red to black and numerous deep snow variations are waiting for you.
This year the family business was once again awarded the slope quality seal!
"Small but nice" presents Ski Hohentauern with natural snow slopes and a snowmaking system from the valley station Moscher to the middle station (1550m above sea level). This means that you can ski from the summit (1800m) down to the valley on perfectly snow-covered slopes. 30ha of slopes, wide, prepared ski slopes, no waiting times at the lifts, 11 km of slopes of all levels of difficulty from blue, red to black and numerous deep snow variations are waiting for you.
Once you have reached the summit, you will be greeted not only by the fantastic mountain panorama, but also by the mountain buffet, the Wichtelhütte, for a cozy stop at a hut at 1800m above sea level.
Maximum 50m around the hotel are all hotel-owned facilities such as ski lifts, ski school and ski rental.
Likewise, you will find directly at the house the entrance to the Tauern cross-country ski trail, which offers you 14 km for "Skating and Classic".
