THEO is one of the largest and most productive independent theatre houses in Austria.

With 6 in-house productions per season, two theatre cities - a black box and a studio stage with a total of 180 seats - are used throughout the year. The content is about the ability to perceive traditions and at the same time to create spaces in which new things can be generated. More than 100 performances a year in the theatre's own house and guest performances at home and abroad are evidence of its supra-regional relevance. The repertoire includes classics, world premieres and comedies as well as family-friendly plays.
