Get into the Christmas spirit!

The Pöllau Advent Trail is taking place for the fourth time to get visitors in the mood for Christmas. This special trail was created in the Kirchenackersiedlung on the initiative of a few committed private individuals. The group is supported by the nature park schools of the market town of Pöllau and the nature park kindergarten, a total of around 170 children, who help shape the trail with a great deal of enthusiasm and creativity. Palette Pöllau is also actively involved and enriches the trail with the works of its members. The lovingly designed path is around two kilometers long and impresses with a variety of pre-Christmas decorations and lights. It invites you to discover and linger at numerous stations. The organizers were particularly keen to bring joy during the Advent season and create space for contemplative preparation for Christmas.
The joy of creating a beautiful Christmas trail lies in the details. The scent of freshly baked pastries and hot punch fills the air, while lovingly placed fairy lights bathe the path in a soft, warm glow. Fir branches, decorated with sparkling baubles and handmade ornaments, line the path and lend it a festive atmosphere. Small, hidden surprises invite you to experience the path with all your senses. Every step along this path reveals new details that warm the heart and increase the anticipation of Christmas. This makes the walk an unforgettable experience that brings the magic of Christmas to life.An outstanding feature of this trail is the creative use of found objects from cellars, attics and the waste management center. The team placed particular emphasis on not simply putting up plastic figurines, but on bringing traditional elements to the fore in harmony with nature.
