Alfred Dorfer writes about his world in his solo program "GLEICH" and shares it on equal terms with joy.
He undergoes an identity change using fake Wikipedia entries, talking about guardian angels who serve small beers or aspiring doctors playing baseball with lower leg bones in the dissection course. The satirist reflects on rainforest showers just as much as on fairy tales. “Where were we? With the sunflowers. In my first pantomime class, we had to play sunflowers. I was a good sunflower.” With charming confidence and much self-irony, the Viennese satirist Alfred Dorfer takes social trends as a keen observer of our everyday lives to task like a rhetorical brother Leichtfuß. Amusingly and skillfully, he plays with his audience. Nothing and no one is safe from his unexpected train of thoughts. The thinker Alfred Dorfer is legendary for his bitterly sharp humor and his ruthless gaze, and he has found his personal style with his characteristic one-man theater, which many consider to be unparalleled. This was the opinion of the jury members of the German cabaret prize, the German and the Bavarian cabaret prize, with which he was honored, as well as the Swiss cabaret prize Cornichon. Additionally, he has experience as an actor, author, director, and long-time late-night talk-show host.
