Enjoy the pre-Christmas season in the beautiful atmosphere of the old town - traditional, enchanting, and sensual!
When a multitude of lights illuminate sights, treetops, alleys, and facades, Hartberg – the city of the senses – invites you again to the traditional Christmas magic in the historic old town. From November 22 to December 23, 2024, the Christkindlmarkt at the main square and the arts and crafts/advent market at the museum will take place in Hartberg's old town.
Opening hours for the Christkindlmarkt at the main square:
THU, FRI from 3 PM to 8 PM
SAT, SUN from 2 PM to 8 PM
MON, 7.12. from 2 PM to 8 PM
TUE, 8.12. from 2 PM to 8 PM
WED, 23.12. from 2 PM to 8 PM

at 5 PM: official opening
Opening hours for "Advent in the Museum" (open until December 22):

- Free ice skating rink for children at the main square, free skate rental
- Live music: every Saturday and on December 8 from 5-7 PM at the main square
- Peace light handover on December 23 at 6:30 PM
