For two days each year, the newly restored castle in the hidden heart of East Styria belongs entirely to art and culture.

On Friday, August 8, 2025, the program "OSTstyrian Suite" by and with Miriam Kulmer & Lukas Meißl and band will take place.

Gentle hills, bubbling waters, orchards, and fire brigade festivals. Between sleepy idyll and lively spirit of innovation, East Styria is a haven of inspiration. Miriam Kulmer (vocals), Lukas Meißl (piano), and Andreas Reisenhofer (drums) grew up around the Kulm. Joined by Tobias Melcher on bass, they transform their thoughts into sounds. How does our landscape sound, how does East Styria sound, how does it sound when local meets international, when pop music meets jazz. As honest as the people are Miriam Kulmer's German lyrics, as fluid as the Feistritz are Lukas Meißl's compositions, as colorful as Lake Stubenberg are Andreas Reisenhofer's sound paintings, and as earthy as the humor are Tobias Melcher's bass lines. The "OSTstyrian Suite" unites for the first time the bands of Miriam Kulmer from Siegersdorf and Lukas Meißl from Anger. A musical fusion of the highest class – made in East Styria.
