Miró im Gemeindeamt Ludersdorf-Wilfersdorf
GleisdorfWinfried Lehmann dedicated his painted talcus sculpture to the Spanish-Catalan surrealist Joan Miró. He worked as a painter, sculptor, graphic artist and ceramist and was one of the most important representatives of surrealism.
Winfried Lehmann handed over the work of art, created in 2012, to the Ludersdorf community in 2019 in order to make it accessible to a wider public. Winfried Lehmann was born in Holland in 1934 and lived as a boy in Vienna during the Second World War. As a shoe technician and designer, the artist was very lucky to repeatedly work in cities with modern museums. It was only when he retired that he was able to deal with art practically and become artistically active himself. The sculptor († 2022), who lived in Ludersdorf and was the long-time artistic director of the April Festival at Freiberg Castle, was known beyond the borders of Eastern Styria.
The culture is accessible during the opening hours of the Ludersdorf-Wilfersdorf community.
