Neuberg Castle
Hartberg-UmgebungNeuberg Castle from the 12th century is one of the most important preserved fortifications in Styria.
It is located in Loeffelbach, near Hartberg. Neuberg Castle is a Styrian hilltop castle with a medieval core. Today it is privately owned.
In the middle of the East Styrian hills - and not far from the castle - you will find the Villa Rustica in Loeffelbach. These remains of a former Roman villa are evidence of one of the largest proven Roman estates in Styria.
