The church has been the destination of numerous pilgrimages for centuries. The most important place of pilgrimage in Wechselland inspires people to pause and reflect. The baroque frescoes by Johann Cyriak Hackhofer (1675-1731) in the church fascinate locals and visitors alike.
The church is ideal for weddings, as agapas can be held on the beautiful forecourt.
With its flowing healing spring, the Brunnkapelle is a spiritual refuge and a place of strength for many praying people.
