Spiritual path
WeizThis modern pilgrimage route was laid out in 2001. It leads from the Taborkirche in the center of the city up to the basilica on the Weizberg. There are 7 stations on the 3 kilometer long route. They would like to bring you on the trail of your personal-spiritual experience.
The way
The path is designed so that you can walk it alone or in a group. It is always accessible. The pure walking time is 30 minutes, but it is recommended that you take 2-3 hours. The way is well signposted. There are concrete suggestions for content on the signs. At the first station in the Taborkirche there are folders available for all pilgrims at the main entrance. There is also a separate folder for the art of the Spiritual Path.
Notes for pilgrims
Mobile phone as a companion: The Spiritual Path is designed in such a way that it is best to use the mobile phone. At each station there is a spiritual impulse to listen to. There is the meditation video “The Inner Path”. There is a video from the author Andrea Sailer in which she reads her texts on the respective stations. And in a video, the artist Walter Kratner interprets the art of the Spiritual Path.
Accompaniment: There are no guided tours along the way. For groups, however, it is possible to have someone accompany them spiritually. Please register in advance with the Weizer Pfingstvision on +43 664 20 23 773.
