At Hauereck, families can not only enjoy excellent skiing and snowboarding, but also try out the natural toboggan run.
The Gasthaus Willenshofer (“Hauer”) and the “Schneemannhütte” in the valley are great places to warm up before and after tobogganing, while the “Schirmbar” on the slope and two “Hütten” (“Sonnenhütte” and “Hauereck-Hütte”) on the mountain are also ideal for breaks in between.
The Hauereck is also an ideal starting point for ski tourers and snow hikers.
Note: Toboggans can be hired from the toboggan rental.
