As we are very dependent on the weather, there are special cancellation conditions:

1. Cancellation due to weather:
Rain, cold, and snowfall generally do not pose a problem for me or the horses, but if it is pouring down, for example, you should cancel in a timely manner in your own interest.
In the event of a weather-related cancellation, please call me early, but no later than 07:00 am on the day of the ride.
Cancellations made up to 24 hours before the appointment are free of charge.
Cancellations on the same day up to 07:00 am will incur the already incurred preparation expenses. In the case of a deposit made, you can book a ride on another available date. The deposited amount will then be credited in full.
Cancellations made after 07:00 am will be charged the full agreed price!
In case of extreme heat (over 30°C), the duration of the carriage ride may need to be shortened to a distance that is reasonable for the horses, a shady route may be chosen, or the load may be eased with additional breaks for animal welfare reasons. Usually, this can be seen 1-2 days in advance in the weather forecast, and we can react in time. In this case, you will be contacted by us. If canceled due to heat, no costs will be incurred for you, and you will not have any claims for compensation.

Snow shortage: If a sleigh ride cannot be conducted due to a lack of snow, a carriage ride will be offered; otherwise, the cancellation conditions below apply.

2. Cancellation for other reasons:

Otherwise, the following applies:

• Cancellation up to 5 days before the appointment - no cancellation fee
• Cancellation 5 days to 48 hours before the appointment - cancellation fee 20% of the agreed price
• Cancellation 48 hours to 24 hours before the appointment - cancellation fee 50% of the agreed price
• Cancellation later than 24 hours before the appointment - the agreed price will be charged in full

With a deposit already made, you can rebook to another date after deducting the cancellation fees.

In the event of acute illness cases and notification of this by 07:00 am on the day of the ride, no cancellation fees will be charged if a medical confirmation is presented.

If I must cancel for urgent reasons (illness, failure of the horse(s), etc.), you will receive a full refund of the paid amount, or you can book a carriage ride on another available date. Furthermore, you will not have any claims for compensation.
