An exciting day centred around the life of children in the rural everyday life of the past, in the Graz Region.
Here, young visitors can experience at first hand what life and everyday life was like for children in the past, when they had to actively help out on the farm.
The children gain an insight into various agricultural activities such as haymaking and learn about traditional farming techniques such as broom-making and ointment-making. They also discover how toys can be made from natural materials with little effort.
Exciting adventure and craft stations invite them to put their dexterity and patience to the test. A special highlight is the traditional Punch and Judy show, complemented by fairy tale stations at selected locations, which can be discovered and guessed.
The Austrian Open-Air Museum Stübing, located in the Graz Region in Styria, offers an unforgettable experience for the whole family with this programme. Immerse yourself in the past and let your children playfully discover the challenges and joys of rural life in the past.
