Jodeln im Untergrund – Urbaner Jodelkurs im Grazbachkanal

Yodeling where no one would expect it – right beneath the city of Graz. Sounds crazy? It is – in the best possible way! On Wednesday, July 2, the Styrian Folk Music Society invites you to a truly special experience: “Yodeling Underground” takes you into the historic Grazbach canal. Together with other adventurous participants, you’ll explore this underground world with your voice, laughter, and curiosity.

You’ll walk half a kilometer below the city – through tunnels with unique acoustics, echoing chambers, and unforgettable soundscapes. No musical skills are required. All you need is sturdy footwear and surefootedness. Entry is via ladder – and then your urban adventure begins!

The workshop is led by yodeling enthusiast Daniel Fuchsberger from the Styrian Folk Music Society and supported by Holding Graz, which also provides expert guidance during the underground tour.

Meeting point: Dietrichsteinplatz 7, in front of “Pizzaiolo.” Duration: approx. 1.5 hours. In case of rain in the catchment area of the Grazbach, the event will be postponed to July 9.
