Summer Jazz at Thaler Lake – free open-air event in the garden by the water
Warm sounds meet cool waves: Every Friday until the beginning of September 2025, a small open-air stage will be set up on the shores of Thaler See in Thal from 16:00 to 19:00. The KUG Jazz Summer at Thaler See brings fresh sounds to the Thaler See garden and shows just how lively the young scene at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz is. The spectrum ranges from swinging standards and Latin grooves to modern improvisation - always live, always unplugged.
The tranquil forest and lake panorama of Styria becomes a natural backdrop on Fridays when saxophone, double bass and percussion fill the lake with jazz. The event joins the events in Graz and turns a trip around the lake into a short musical holiday.
