A table, many languages, and countless melodies: At the Intercultural Music Gathering in Café Global at Leechgasse 22, music lovers, neighbors, and the curious come together to sing, play, and listen. On October 14, 2025, the cozy venue transforms into a resonant living room, where each culture finds its own place while discovering new tones. The Afro-Asian Institute Graz and the Styrian Folk Song Collection bring experience in building bridges – supported by the Cultural Office of the City of Graz.

No matter if it's a folk song, pop song, oud improvisation, or Styrian harmonica: Everything is allowed to resonate, everything can participate. Those who wish can pick up an instrument, and those who prefer to listen can enjoy the diversity. From simple beats, a colorful togetherness grows, showing how lively events and gatherings in Graz can be. Admission is free, and no registration is required – ideal for spontaneous leisure in Styria.
