The Pipifein distillery in Pichling near Köflach, in the heart of picturesque western Styria, is a real insider tip for connoisseurs. Father and son Reinhard and Daniel Wölkart share their passion for distilling schnapps here and create high-quality fruit brandies, liqueurs, gin and rum with great attention to detail. What began as a small cellar distillery has developed into an inviting small distillery with a restaurant. The sugar-free Classic gin with juniper and citrus flavours and the innovative White and Blue gins in particular provide special moments of pleasure. The highlight is the Gin Blue, which changes colour from blue to purple when tonic is added - a real eye-catcher.
The rustic, modern location offers the perfect ambience for company parties, birthdays or simply a relaxed evening with friends. In addition to the high-quality spirits, a wide selection of drinks from beer to Nespresso coffee as well as culinary delicacies ensure an all-round successful visit.
