Keltenhaus Ligist
LigistEvery 1st Sunday the Ligister Museum shows its treasures in the Schmiedhiaslhammer from 10:00 to 12:00.
6000 years of settlement history are presented in a 250-year-old house - a former blacksmith shop. The exhibited objects provide an insight into regional history from the Neolithic to the end of the 19th century.
Stone axes from the 4th millennium BC Celtic grave goods, Roman coins tell us traces of the older settlement history. The Schmiedhiasl parlor and Hammerherrin Gamillschegg's elegant salon juxtapose the living environment of the "black counts" and agriculturists in the 19th century. Short videos support the exhibition of original old tools and handicrafts in historical rooms.
