Kulinarium Steiermark Hut | Nature Friends' Hut of the Year 2025
The Sattelhaus, also known as Oskar-Schauer-Hut, is located at 1409m at the foot of the Terenbachalm in the Graz Region and is an ideal starting point for circular hikes for all ages.
The guests are spoiled on the lovely sun terrace with 80 seats or in the two rooms with a total capacity of 50 people with regional and homemade specialties. The wonderful pastries are baked by the house manager herself in the in-house bakery.
There are 4 double rooms and 2 triple rooms that are lovingly decorated. Each room has flowing cold water, and the shared showers have enough hot water, which is heated by the table stove.
The hut is open from early May to the end of October from Wednesday to Sunday (including public holidays).
A large meadow parking lot is available.
