Filming Location - Silberkarklamm
Ramsau am DachsteinThis romantic wild water canyon, in the heart of the Dachstein massif, has been used multiple times as a filming location for the television series. Spectacular, action-packed shots of the TV series, have been skillfully staged at this location, leaving the spectators with goosebumps.
A hike through the Silberkarklamm is especially recommendable. There, along the rushing cascade, a variety of wild nature, alpine flora and fauna as well as animals open up to the visitor. At the end of the canyon, you will reach the Silberkar, a mountain coombe which serves as a popular hiking destination for young and old. At the Silberkarhütte, you can enjoy organic products from their organic farm, and you can also appreciate the fantastic view from their sun terrace.
Insider tip: Via Ferratas "Hias" and "Rosina" inside of the Silberkarklamm and "Siega" above the Silberkarhütte.
