Pölfing BrunnThe Mining tunnels is one of the most impressive sights in the region and was renovated in 2015. It's worth a visit!
The mining exhibition tunnel is reminiscent of the 175 years of mining in the village of Polfing-Brunn. With retired miners and an experienced climber, as well as with the support of the market town of Polfing-Brunn and under the leadership of the cultural association, a coal mine was replicated in the basement vaults of the former factory school in 1987/1988, which very naturally shows the hard work of the miners underground . The screening room was redesigned and the showroom in the basement was renovated. An explosion with sound and light is simulated. The main shaft memorial to commemorate the deceased miners arose from a school project in 2005 and was painstakingly renovated, redesigned and converted into a worthy memorial in 2015.
