Remschniggalm
ArnfelsThe Remschniggalm is an idyllic alpine pasture in the South Styrian wine country, near the municipality of Leutschach an der Weinstraße. It lies at around 1,100 meters above sea level and is a popular excursion destination for hikers and nature lovers. The magnificent view from the alpine pasture, which extends far over the rolling hills of southern Styria to the surrounding mountains, is particularly attractive.
The Alm not only offers scenic beauty, but also regional delicacies. Visitors can enjoy typical Styrian snacks here, often with homemade products such as bacon, cheese and bread. The Remschniggalm is also known for its cozy atmosphere, which attracts locals and guests alike.
Hikes to the alpine pasture, which lead through dense forests and across wide meadows, are particularly rewarding. In winter, the area is transformed into a quiet, snow-covered paradise and is ideal for snowshoe hikes.
Alm is freely accessible. Remschniggalm - hut is open from April to October.
