Schilcherei Jöbstl
WiesTHE WINERY
SCHILCHER - an endless passion for Hannes and Luise Jöbstl - Schilcher Traditionell, Schilcher Weiß, Schnürlwein, red wine, but also Schilcher pressed like port wine, balsamic vinegar ... all made from the Blauer Wildbacher grape. Wine lovers rarely leave the Schilcherei ® without having been infected by the Schilcher virus! Of course, Sauvignon blanc, Muskateller and juices are also produced here in a natural and, for some years now, vegan way. Visit us and let us tempt you.

JUNGWINZER 2020 (the next generation)
At the southern end of the „SCHILCHER Weinstraße“ (Schilcher wine district) we Jöbstls are at home – Am Schilcherberg 1. There, where at the foothills of the Koralpe large-scale orchards and fields are replaced by Schilcher vineyards, our family has been farming the land since the 17th century.
In a visionary way, our grandfather switched from farming and livestock to fruit growing. Thank God - the quality of the raw material was the basis for the later top qualities. 1984 (after his studies at the Höhere Bundeslehranstalt in Klosterneuburg and his teacher training in Ober Sankt Veit) Hannes started to refine the fruit at the farm which originally only produced fresh fruit.
Approximately 15 years for and with his parents Waltraud and Johann and after the farm ownership transfer on his own responsibility with his wife Luise. Success proved him right - many awards and loyal customers are the result of careful work. Care and innovation can still be expected in the next few years - Johannes, the youngest member of the family, has joined the company since his successful graduation from the agricultural and forestry college Silberberg in 2018.
Our winery is located on popular cycling and hiking trails of the region Schilcherland Eibiswald-Wies.
The Emmauswinzerweg is walked both at Easter, on the so-called Emmausgang on Easter Monday, as part of the fermentation week "Es gärt im Schilcherdorf" in the second week of October and at Christmas on "Hanstag" by guests and locals with numerous stops.
Of course, we are also available outside our opening hours (by appointment)!
