St. Veit in der Südsteiermark

The chateau, which is visible from afar, rises on a hill with the chateau chapel used as a branch church. In front of the castle there is a baroque statue of St. John Nepomuk, a little lower the manor house and a wooden well house from 1899.

Today the "Wine Castle" is privately owned by the Lucchesi Palli count family, who still occupy this castle steeped in history. Therefore, for understandable reasons, it is not possible to visit the interior, although the courtyard and the church are open for weekly masses, for baptisms, weddings and funerals. On Saturdays, during the church service, the arcaded courtyard can be visited.
