The Troop Museum in the Archduke Johann Barracks in Straß in Styria shows the history of the region and the Austrian Armed Forces in three rooms. The first room presents the history of the town of Straß, while the second room focuses on the barracks' traditional units. The third room is dedicated to the development of the Austrian Armed Forces from the first army through the Second World War and the B-Gendarmerie to today's armed forces. In addition, various missions, such as border protection with the former Yugoslavia and UN missions, are documented. Admission is free.
