The Wruss winery is situated in an idyllic location on a small mountain plateau on the Kranachberg. The 7 hectares of vineyards are located exclusively on the Kranachberg and its steep slopes are lovingly and sustainably cultivated by hand all year round. In our cellar we produce wines of the highest elegance, finesse and character, which impressively reflect their special origins. The typical varieties at Weingut Wruss include Sauvignon Blanc, Gelber Muskateller, Weissburgunder, Welschriesling and Grauburgunder.
Our family is now in its third generation of winegrowing on the Kranachberg. Today, Johannes Wruss is responsible for the vinification of the wines and is actively supported by his parents Joseph and Brigitte and his wife Katharina.
Our wines are certified according to the criteria of "Nachhaltig Austria" and stand for respectful work in harmony with nature.
