Elisabeth Leonskaja regularly performs in major music centers around the world. Solo recitals are as important as appearances with leading European and American orchestras. As a highly regarded chamber music partner, she collaborates with prominent artist colleagues. In her chosen home country of Austria, she is an honorary member of the Konzerthaus and was awarded the Austrian Cross of Honour for Science and Art, First Class, in 2006 for her outstanding contributions to the culture of the country. It is the highest award in Austria. In Georgia, Elisabeth Leonskaja was named an honorary artist in 2016, also the highest artistic award in that country. In 2020, she received the International Classical Music (ICMA) Lifetime Achievement Award.
