Traditional maypole raising with music and refreshments
On April 27, 2025, the traditional maypole raising event by the Landjugend Wies will take place at the market square in Wies. Starting at 10:00 AM, the maypole will be festively raised, accompanied by music and local food and drink. This popular gathering is a wonderful opportunity for both locals and visitors to experience authentic Styrian customs. All proceeds will go toward sports, cultural, and recreational activities organized by the Landjugend Wies.
