The Radio Steiermark Heimatsommer provides musical entertainment with a live broadcast directly from Lorberplatz.

Under the popular motto "Play, Fun, and Music," visitors can look forward to an eventful afternoon filled with a variety of highlights. The program includes exciting games and interactive activities that invite participation and experimentation. Whether for children, teenagers, or adults – there is something for every age group.

In the foreground are shared experiences, joy in movement, and fun. The day is accompanied by captivating live music that fills the area with positive energy. A special guest star will provide musical highlights – with a live performance that excites and a special opportunity for personal encounters. Thus, the day will not only be entertaining but also unforgettable. The diverse offerings are complemented by interesting discussion rounds with guests from various fields – including art, culture, sports, and society.

In a relaxed atmosphere, exciting insights and inspiring encounters are created, inviting reflection and exchange. Whether as a family, with friends, or alone – the best entertainment is ensured at all levels.

• Contest: A special Radio Steiermark suitcase will be filled – visitors of the Heimatsommer can guess its weight. Those who correctly estimate the weight of the suitcase will have the chance to be drawn at the end of the Heimatsommertour and win a great prize, such as a vacation.

• Brass Band Challenge: At least 30 brass musicians in traditional dress with instruments are to be gathered at 15:30 during the Heimatsommer. The musicians should come from different brass bands and will play the closing piece of the Heimatsommertour broadcast just before 16:00. A short video of the Brass Band Challenge will also be recorded. At the end of the Heimatsommer, all videos will be posted online, and users can choose their favorite. The winning brass band will receive 1000 liters of beer and soft drinks from our sponsor, Murauer Bier, for the next district musicians' festival.

• Lucky Wheel: The visitors of the Heimatsommer can spin the Lucky Wheel and win various prizes.

A brief note for the culinary palate - at the same time, the Street Food Market will also stop at Lorberplatz, with selected food concepts taking you on a culinary journey through the kitchens of the international street food scene.
