Archaeologists present the first excavation finds from the Königsberg in Tieschen.
The Königsberg is characterized by one of the most important settlements of the late Bronze Age and early Hallstatt period in southeastern Styria and can be described as a prehistoric central town. Since 2020, successful archaeological teaching and research excavations have been carried out annually in July, with the participation of pupils, students and interested laymen from the population.
Scientific Events: Researchers Among Us On July 20, 2024, the Königsberg Research association will host a Science Fair with programs from science to touch, a guided hike to historic sites and a large prehistoric festival with music and culinary delights at the market square in Tieschen.
