From analog to digital
Among the exhibits in the photography museum in Dietersdorf am Gnasbach near Sankt Peter am Ottersbach are real rarities. The showpiece of the collection is a travel camera from 1890 with glass plate negative. The development of photography and film is explained on the basis of over 1000 exhibits on display, and sound and office technology round off the program.
"In 1826, the first photo required a whole day of exposure time," says Johann Kurzweil, who has been collecting historical cameras, film cameras and projectors for several years. The collection of the Analog & DIGITAL Photo Museum in Dietersdorf am Gnasbach, which is unique in Austria, can of course be visited all year round by appointment.
