If the Sagenpfad is also called "the handicapped accessible Sagenpfad Altenmarkt - Fürstenfeld", it cannot be assumed that handicapped accessible equals wheelchair accessible. There are indeed, both in Altenmarkt and in Fürstenfeld some stations accessible by wheelchair and can be visited by people with walking disabilities, however, we expressly point out that the Buchwald between the campsite Fürstenfeld and the ice rink Altenmarkt is not passable for wheelchair users and people with walking disabilities. This part is a mountain hiking trail and is also designated as such. It requires good footwear and surefootedness. The Sagenpfad is very natural in the Buchwald area - here you should consciously perceive the near-natural space, track it down, become one and face the challenges of nature and its consequences.
Recommended visiting times: late April to late October (Buchwald motor skills park)
