The Liebmann Lake has been a well-known fishing water for years and is also a term recognized by many anglers. For several decades, fishing has been practiced here and it delights countless visitors.
In 2010, the Liebmann Lake was taken back into the hands of its owners and led to new attractiveness. Bathing and Fishing Pleasures In 1967, Heinrich Liebmann began excavation work on his property with the intention of extracting the abundant gravel. A few years later, Margarethe Liebmann took over the resulting pond facility and continued the excavations. In 1978, after completing the work, the Liebmann Lake was leased by the municipality of Bad Radkersburg and used for fishing. Since 2008, the Liebmann family has again been taking care of the lake themselves.
The old fisherman's hut was torn down and replaced by a modern "lake house." Mirror carp, river carp, and amur carp, as well as pike, zanders, and catfish are present in the pond. Bathing in the Liebmann Lake is done in its natural form. The facility is opaque from the roadside, allowing for undisturbed bathing fun. The lakeside restaurant, the "lake house," offers a beautifully furnished, covered terrace with plenty of space for relaxing hours by the lake.
