More information

From St. Michael in Upper Styria via the Murtal expressway S36 (toll sticker required) to the Zeltweg West exit. Continue left to the traffic circle at MRast and take the first exit onto Gaberlbundestraße 78/77. At the second traffic circle in Fisching, take the 3rd exit and continue through the village of Weißkirchen to the end of Großfeistritz. On the right-hand side you will find the Kleinfeistritz junction and the Krugmoar cross.
You start at the Krugmoar cross in Großfeistritz. Follow the Hirscheggerstraße L 542, past Hopfgarten along the Feistritzbach stream to the Reisstraße junction near Kleinfeistritz. Turn left here. Continue uphill along Reisstraße, which leads into Stüblergraben-Gaberlstraße. A sharp left-hand bend awaits you. Continue along the road. At the crossroads at kilometer 9, turn right onto Gaberlstraße B 77. Follow the route to your destination, the Gaberl.
Enjoy the sensational view on the Gaberl, just like the Lipizzaner horses do on the pasture in summer.
The nearest train station is in Zeltweg.
