"Wildes Lachtal" the adventure trail consists of 19 stations with motor skills and balancing elements, a calisthenics station, the rope jungle and much more.

The 4.4 km long circular trail "Wildes Lachtal" was built by connecting existing structures and blends gently into nature. With its 19 stations and its altitude, up to 1.726 meters above sea level, it is one of the highest located adventure circular hiking trails in Styia.

The trail is situated at an altitude of 16 meters above sea level and connects a total of 19 adventure stations. These stations include a balancing and a motor skills course, the "Wild Water", a calisthenics course, a petting zoo, a rope jungle, "Twin Towers". Viewpoints, a chill-out area, climbing walls and playground euipment. And of course, you'll encpunter life-size figures of deer, ibex, wild boar, marmots, roe deer and many more in the Wild Lachtal.

Along the way, the cozy Lachtal huts invite you to stop for a bite to eat.

A large children's playground has also been created in the area of the Tanzstatt lift valley station.

The trail is free of charge.

By car from Vienna: Via Semmering, Bruck/Mur, Judenburg, Oberzeiring, Lachtal.

By car from Germany: Via Salzburg, Tauernautobahn to St. Michael im Lungau (or Radstätter Tauernpass), turn off to Tamsweg - Murau, Niederwölz, Lachtal.

By car from Carinthia: St. Veit/Glan, Scheifling, Niederwölz, Lachtal.

The unique movement experience "Wildes Lachtal" starts at the parking lot, vis á vis from Café Hannes - next to the bridge of the "Chalets-Lachtal".

At the 1st station "Die Wilde Lachtalkuh" there is information and an overwiew of the circular hiking trail. We cross the road and continue to the left in the direction of Kinderlachtal. Past the 2nd station in Wölzer Stadl we go uphill through the Kinder Lachtal to the 3rd station - The Sundial. Now it goes on to the 4th and 5th station of the balancing and motoric track such as the movement, motoric or calisthenic track let many a movement talent rejoice. The 9th station - the petting zoo is located at the Kleinlachtal hut. Especially the little ones look forward to the petting zoo here.

Continue east to the chillout area. The wooden loungers invite you to pause and mindfully enjoy. Following the course of the trail, you will reach the "Lachtal Towers", the rope jungle and at the 13th station, a mighty L-symbolzining the Lachtal region. Continue towards the Heberthütte and the Futtertrögerl. The 15th station, the rope jungle is located at the Lachtal Chalets. By crossing the bridge you get back to the starting point.

You can park you car directly at the valley station of the 6-seater chairlift. The adventure trail starts with the 1st station "Wild Cow" directly at the parking lot.

The ideal time for this tour is from May to November.
