Intermediate trail on the Hallstatt Glacier for classic and skating, up to 10 km long at 2,560 to 2,670 m above sea level.
The Hallstatt trail is the longer of the two high-alpine glacier trails on the Dachstein Glacier and offers you glacier cross-country skiing with a view.
Enjoy up to 10 km of perfectly groomed trails at over 2,500 m above sea level on the Hallstatt Glacier between Gjaidstein and Eisstein.
Run and train where the world elite of Nordic skiing regularly train.

More information
From the West: Take the A10 to Knoten Ennstal - take the exit towards Graz/Schladming. Drive along the Ennstal-Bundesstraße for approx. 20 km until you reach Schladming. Take the turn-off for Ramsau.
From the North: Take the Pyhrnautobahn direction Liezen. Then follow the Ennstalbundesstraße to Schladming. Take the turn-off for Ramsau.
Then continue through the village of Ramsau and follow the Dachstein toll road to the valley terminal of the Dachstein glacier cable-car.
From the mountain station of the Dachstein cable car you go up the metal stairs to the start of the groomed hiking trail and from there slowly descend in the direction of the Gjaidsteinsattel. Please be considerate of the hikers next to you in this area. To the left of the saddle, you continue to the start of the cross-country ski loops of the Hallstatt cross-country ski run, which run back and forth across the glacier between the Kleiner Gjaidstein and the Eisstein.
