Moderately difficult cross-country ski run, classic & skating, 14 km in length at 1,111 to 1,210 m above sea level.
The Herold-Schildlehen trail is an ideal combination of sporting incentives and scenic enjoyment. On sunny winter afternoons you will get your money's worth here when you tackle the sporty climbs on the west side of the Kulmberg.

More information
From the west:
Take the A10 to Knoten Ennstal - take the exit towards Graz/Schladming. Drive along the Ennstal-Bundesstraße for approx. 20 km until you reach Schladming. Take the turn-off for Ramsau. Continue to the village of Ramsau where the XC-stadium is located.
From the East/North:
Take the Pyhrnautobahn direction Liezen. Then follow the Ennstalbundesstraße to Schladming. Take the turn-off for Ramsau. Continue to the village of Ramsau where the XC-stadium is located.
The trail runs along the following junction points:
Stadium - Kreitseiler - Rosegger - Herold - Rosegger - Kreitseiler - Helpferer - Rittisberg - Walcherhof - Fischhteich - Helpferer - Kreitseiler - Stadium
This is an ideal training track for athletes.
With the buses of the Ramsauer Verkehrsbetriebe to Ramsau Ort to the cross-country stadium. Timetable at www.rvb.at.
Parking available at the "Ramsau Zentrum" next to the stadium.
