Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Here turn right in the direction of Teufenbach. In Teufenbach keep left in the direction of Mariahof and in Mariahof turn right and drive straight on to St. Lambrecht.
Coming from Tamsweg via Ranten or Stadl an der Mur drive straight on to Murau. In Murau keep right in the direction of Steirische/Kärnterische Laßnitz. Follow the road straight ahead to St. Lambrecht.
This hike starts out through the Stiftsgarten, past the beautiful cross to the Heiligenstädter church. At the farmstead Wirt am Pichl you walk through the forest to the reading garden near the St. Blasner church, where you will find space to relax. From here the hike runs along the sheltered, sunny edge of the forest to Hinterbach. There we cross the St. Blasner Buch and head towards the Koglerberg. Now we walk first on forest roads, then across the forest up to the Koglbauer. The last part of the trail runs downhill to the finishing point in St. Lambrecht.
