Within just one hour you can reach some of the most beautiful excursion destinations in Styria.
The city of Leoben is the second-largest city in Styria and boasts an extensive programme of events: from the Gösser Kirtag to the Advent Town. Popular excursion destinations include the Gösser brewery with its "Gösseum", the Kulturquartier, Göss Abbey and guided tours of voestalpine Donawitz.
Tip from the region: To be able to experience the "Gösseum" with all your senses as a travel group, it is advisable to book a guided tour in advance. Trained staff will guide you through the venerable brewery’s walls, including an enjoyable tasting of freshly tapped Gösser beer and beer pretzels – a delightful experience.
From the city of Leoben, it’s only a few kilometres to Erzberg. At the show mine, groups and school groups can learn all about ore mining and the history of the "Styrian pyramid". You’ll also have the opportunity to watch a live blasting and go on a Hauly ride on Erzberg.
Convenient: The team of the Hauly restaurant not only spoils group travellers with culinary delicacies but also assists them in coming up with a day's programme of activities.
