The ERZBERG LEOBEN region

Experience is in the forefront here with an exciting fun factor. Eisenerz has a lot to offer: mountain power in the summer and winter, action, high peaks right in the middle of the Erzberg, a crystal-clear lake, challenging climbing routes, cultural delicacies and museums.

Kalwang, in the middle of the Eisenerz and Seckau Alps, offers the ideal starting point for numerous hiking possibilities: From the tranquil circular hiking trail past the pilgrimage church of St. Sebastian to alpine tours to the summits of the Zeiritzkampel or the Wildfeld, which lie at over 2,000 m. The long-distance hiking trail of the region, the Iron Trail, also leads through Kalwang.

Kammern, situated between the Eisenerz Alps and the foothills of the Niedere Tauern, invites you to explore the surroundings with wonderful hiking trails. The Rittersteig (knight's path), which leads past two castle ruins to Mautern, provides adventure, while the Marterlweg (monastery path) with 48 sacred buildings offers contemplation.

Kraubath an der Mur is located in the Mur valley between Leoben, the second largest city in Styria, and Spielberg, in the Mur valley region.

Mautern, surrounded by the Eisenerz Alps and Seckauer Tauern, encourages every guest to get active in nature. A highlight for the whole family is the "Wilder Berg" Alpine Wildlife Park. Hikers, on the other hand, will find marked tours along the Iron Trail in hilly terrain or on high mountain routes.

Niklasdorf is ideally situated between Leoben (5 km away) and Bruck an der Mur (10 km away) in the countryside. Directly on the Mur cycle path and at the foot of the Mugel hiking area, many possibilities open up.

Due to its favourable location close to Leoben and Bruck an der Mur and at the same time in the countryside, Proleb is an ideal place for recreation with numerous hiking and leisure opportunities.

Radmer lies at the foot of the Lugauer, the Styrian Matterhorn. Here you will find nature in its original form: wild; powerful, impetuous and unforced, then again gentle, romantic and full of tranquillity.

The St. Michael cycling hub is located on the Murradweg R2 and the Rastlandradweg R15. Small and manageable, proud of its tradition, the idyllic village conveys a lot of warmth to its guests and offers the ideal ambience for holidays with friends.

The particularly child-friendly municipality offers a variety of leisure activities: hiking, mountain biking or cycling - the beautiful landscape can be explored here in many ways.

Traboch is located in the adventure and sports region ERZBERG LEOBEN. The idyllic market town in the Liesingtal offers beautiful cycling and hiking trails, pure recreation at the recreational lake Traboch and is located on the long-distance hiking trail Iron Trail.
