Small Günster waterfall circuit
Combine the natural experience of the Günstner waterfall with a short hike!
With a drop of 65 meters, the Günstner Wasserfall is the highest waterfall in Styria! 250-300 liters of water per second fall over primary rocks in three impressive cascades into the valley basin! Combined with the small waterfall circuit, it's an "exhilarating" experience for the whole family.

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Turn right here and drive towards Murau. In Katsch an der Mur keep right and drive via St. Peter am Kammersberg to Schöder. Turn right here and head towards Krakau. The Günster waterfall is on the right.
Coming from Tamsweg via Ranten, keep left towards Schöder. Turn right here and head towards Krakau. The Günster waterfall is on the right.
The starting point is the natural experience “Günstner Wasserfall”. You can reach the forest road via wooden stairs and steps, close to the waterfall, always climbing. Now turn right and follow the gravel road to the asphalted municipal road. Now follow the “Wasserfallrunde” sign pointing to the right and walk down the asphalted municipal road to the main road. Turn right and follow the road to the Günstner Wasserfall junction. Turn right and go back to the starting point.
