On Saturday, 4 October 2025, the market town of Gratwein-Straßengel cordially invites you to its traditional ‘Schmankerltag’. From 11:00 am, the Kinoplatz in the Gratwein district in the Graz Region will be transformed into a colourful festival mile full of culinary delights, musical performances and handicrafts.
Look forward to a variety of regional delicacies, lovingly prepared by local clubs and businesses. Whether hearty Blunzngröstl, sweet delicacies or exquisite wines - there is something for every taste. The festival is accompanied by a varied programme of music, including the Gratwein Music Association and pupils from the local music school. Traditional dances by the traditional costume association and other cultural highlights provide the best entertainment.
There are play stations and creative activities for younger visitors, providing fun and variety. Artisans present their works and invite you to browse and marvel.
Admission is free, voluntary donations are welcome. Travelling by public transport is easy - Gratwein/Gratkorn train station is just a five-minute walk away.
