Burgstall Climbing Garden

Development of the "Burgstall Rock" began in 1975. Today, like nowhere else, you'll find a very wide selection of practice and beginner routes, intermediate routes, some with an alpine feel, and tough sport climbing routes.

The Styrian Mountain Guide Association leases and maintains the climbing garden and the parking lot and allows you to use them free of charge. The care and protection of this habitat is a top priority for every climber.

Approach: All routes on the lowest level are just a few minutes from the parking lot.

Difficulty: 4 to 8b (French scale)

Wall height: up to 210 m

Exposure: South (also climbable in winter)
