Demanding round tour through the Mariazeller Land and Salzatal, past Göstling and Lunz and over the Zellerrain back to Mariazell.

this round trip leads us from Mariazell through the romantic Salzatal to Wildalpen, via Göstling and Lunz am See (detour to the lake) and via the Zellerrain back to St. Sebastian and Mariazell

Via the Westautobahn (A1 from Salzburg or Vienna) to the exit Ybbs or St. Pölten/Süd, then B 20 to Mariazeller Land.

From the south to Bruck/Mur - Kapfenberg, then B 20 over the Seebergpass into Mariazell country.

We start in St. Sebastian and drive along the B20 to Gußwerk. In Gußwerk we turn right and drive - in parts along the Salza - to Wildalpen. We continue towards Palfau, here we turn right onto the B25 towards Göstling and continue to Lunz am See.

After Lunz we turn right again onto the L 6174 (shortcut) and then come back onto the B71 - keep right here in the direction of Mariazell. Over the Zellerain (last ascent) we drive past the Erlaufsee to St. Sebastian (L 112), here turn left and on the B20 a short distance back to the starting point (parking lot valley station chairlift).

Worth seeing side trips like Klausgraben, Presceny Klause, Kläfferquelle or also a jump in the Lunzer See or Erlaufsee possible.
