Culinary & natural highlights

With three toques and three forks, the Steirereck restaurant on the Pogusch is a rustic yet exclusive pilgrimage site for gourmets. Here, Jürgen Schneider spoils his guests with culinary specialities. The inn was awarded the MICHELIN Green Star and MICHELIN Bib Gourmand in 2025.

But the offer extends far beyond the plate.  The Bründlweg trail, which was named the most beautiful hiking trail in Styria in 2020, is located directly on the Pogusch. There are unique accommodation options for nights close to nature: Sleeping in the forest in cosy tree houses, in charming birdhouses or ‘sleeping in the barn’ with a view over the goats.
