E-bike tour in the Hochschwab region

Firstly, we cycle along the Mürztal cycle path R5 to Kapfenberg. There we turn left before Europaplatz, cross under the railway and from here follow the Thörler Tal cycle path to Thörl.

At the beginning of the village, below the striking Schachenstein castle ruins, we turn left again and cycle along the main road to the small village of St. Ilgen. Here, a paved but narrow road leads us past the Karlschütt nature reserve to the large car park at Alpengasthof Bodenbauer.

An impressive mountain panorama awaits us and a short walk along the local panoramic trail concludes our tour before we return along the same route as on the way there.
