This wonderful tour leads from the village center to the Arzberghütte at the summit of the Arzberg. You will be rewarded with magnificent views along the way and at the finish. A delicious snack awaits hungry bikers at the Arzberghütte.

St. Jakob im Walde can call itself a "flower village", which has already won several awards in the Styrian flower decoration competition.

A special flowering spot in St. Jakob im Walde is the Europapark where the flags of the EU are displayed with flowers. The Kräftereich is also an attraction in St. Jakob. Together with the numerous hiking trails and magnificent viewpoints, the municipality creates a wonderful feel-good atmosphere. In winter, St. Jakob im Walde is best known for the Jogllandloipe cross-country ski trail and the family ski mountain.

Sankt Jakob im Walde is located approx. 24 km northwest of the district capital Hartberg in the far northwest of the Hartberg district. The municipality belongs to Joglland.

By car:
From Vienna: via the A2 to the Friedberg exit and B54 to Rohrbach, then via Mönichwald to St. Jakob im Walde

From Graz: via the A2 to the Rohrbach - Vorau exit, then to Rohrbach and on to Waldbach and St. Jakob im Walde
From the S6 Krieglach exit via the Alpl to Ratten and St. Jakob im Walde

This tour is divided into 3 variants.
The first tour takes us through the village - along the family cycle path, which then takes us left along the municipal road via the Lechenviertel back to the village. approx. 5.2 km
The second tour also takes us to the Rotleitner farmstead and then right along the road markings to the Arzberghütte. We return via the Lechenviertel along the family cycle path to the village center. approx. 8.3 km
The third tour also takes us past the Rotleitner farm to the Arzberghütte. From there, we turn left towards Waldbach and follow the markings past the "Gehöft Moihof" farm to Waldbach and back along the main road, over the Augraben to St. Jakob im Walde. approx. 15 km

In St. Jakob you have the opportunity to visit the Kräftereich and play a round of power golf. The Landgasthof Pink provides culinary delights.
