FULLMOON

In 2025, from June to October, a culinary event series will take place at exclusive and unique locations throughout the Graz Region. Featuring regional specialties and curated menus, individually designed creative programs, and the region’s diverse and distinctive landscapes, this series promises a one-of-a-kind, authentic taste experience.

Each event will offer a five-course menu with wine pairings, accompanied by a sophisticated supporting program.

A Gourmet Summit – FULLMOON at Hochtrötsch

On June 10 and 11, the Hochtrötsch in Semriach will transform into a magical setting for the first "Fullmoon" event of the season. Sylvia Loidolt from Semriacherhof and Maria Möstl from Häuserl im Wald will delight guests with regional specialties and seasonal surprises, showcasing the rich diversity of the region.

The romantic natural scenery of Hochtrötsch, combined with an atmospheric supporting program, creates an unforgettable experience for all the senses. A night where culinary delights, nature, and culture come together in perfect harmony.

Culinary Delights with a View – Packer Reservoir

The breathtaking natural backdrop of Packer Reservoir sets the stage for the FULLMOON evenings on July 9 and 10. This idyllic reservoir, situated at an altitude of 850 meters, spans an area of 60 hectares.

Here, award-winning chef Florian Wörgötter from the renowned Gasthaus Wörgötter crafts an exceptional culinary experience. His talent has been recognized with two Gault&Millau toques as well as a Michelin star, highlighting his extraordinary skills and the outstanding quality of his cuisine.

Using fresh, seasonal ingredients from the region, he creates dishes that perfectly harmonize with the stunning landscape.

Savor the Skyline Frohnleiten and Its Skyline

Situated directly on the Mur River, Frohnleiten transforms into a magical setting for two more gourmet evenings on August 8 and 9. Award-winning chef Reinhard Rois from Landhaus Rois will indulge guests with the finest regional specialties.

Beneath the majestic trees of the park, surrounded by 1,000 different plant species, guests can enjoy a breathtaking view of the skyline. Light and sound installations, along with carefully curated music, create a truly unique atmosphere.

To round off the evening, a special surprise awaits.

Next Stop - Graz Airport

This exclusive venue invites you to change your perspective on September 7 and 8. Follow top chef Christof Widakovich to a location where access is usually granted only with a boarding pass.

Be prepared to be surprised by culinary creations that blend flavor, originality, and the unique atmosphere of the airport. With exquisite touches and first-class gourmet delights, this evening promises to be an unmissable experience.

Sky-High Delights in Graz

The grand finale of the FULLMOON 2025 series will be two unforgettable evenings in the heart of the Graz Region.

From sunset to the rising full moon, on October 6 and 7, guests will experience a culinary spectacle with breathtaking views of the city. The unique synergy of nature, indulgence, and the magic of the full moon creates an experience for all the senses.

Schöckl – Graz’s Beloved Local Peak

The Schöckl is known as Graz’s local mountain. Standing at 1,445 meters, it offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Graz Basin and is already a popular excursion destination during the day. However, in the glow of a beautiful full moon night, this location becomes even more extraordinary.

The evening begins with a comfortable gondola ride to the summit, where finger food and an aperitif make the journey itself a delightful experience. A short walk, accompanied by live music, leads to the western summit, where guests will enjoy a five-course menu with a perfectly paired wine selection as the sun sets and the full moon rises.

With atmospheric music and exceptional cuisine, this evening promises to be a truly unforgettable experience.

Thalersee – A Picnic by the Lake

Just 7 km from Graz, you'll find the charming market town of Thal. Never heard of it? You probably know one of its most famous residents: Arnold Schwarzenegger. Near his birthplace, which is also the only official museum dedicated to him worldwide, lies the beautiful Thalersee.

Here, you can enjoy an extraordinary open-air dining experience. On a picturesque meadow by the lake, regional specialties and Styrian wines will delight your palate, while light and sound installations create an enchanting atmosphere. Sculpture Park Premstätten

The Austrian Sculpture Park, located south of Graz, has been a renowned center for contemporary sculpture since its founding in 2003. Designed by landscape architect Dieter Kienast, this fascinating park spans 7 hectares and is home to more than 80 sculptures.

Recognized as one of Europe’s top 10 sculpture parks, the Premstätten Sculpture Park can be visited free of charge from April to October during the day. Here, where art and nature merge, an ever-evolving dialogue unfolds, telling a story that changes over time.

This extraordinary location now sets the stage for a culinary experience for all senses, offering new perspectives and unforgettable flavors.

A Lost Place in Laßnitzhöhe

It doesn't get more extraordinary than this! A forgotten swimming pool, hidden deep in the forests of Laßnitzhöhe. This graffiti-covered ruin sets the scene for the final "Fullmoon" dinner of the season.

Normally off-limits, this exclusive location opens for one night only, transforming into a culinary hotspot like no other. With atmospheric live music and the sounds of nature—perhaps even the gentle chirping of birds—this evening promises to be truly unforgettable.
