Kammerholzweg, Vorau
Almost flat hiking trail without difficulties with a length of about 5 km.
You walk almost level, first on the municipal road, through the upper part of Markt Vorau, until you turn into Kammerholz, a quiet piece of forest (insider tip: Schwammerlwald). Then you return to Markt Vorau.

Vorau is located in the East Styrian hill country at an altitude of between 470 and 1248 meters.
By car:
From Vienna: A2 exit Pinggau - Rohrbach-Vorau
From Graz: A2 exit Pinkafeld or Hartberg - Rohrbach - Vorau

- We start either from the Sparkasse in Vorau or the town hall just above and follow the marked trail no. 5 to the Faustmann Cross
- Then we turn left towards Riegersberg. At the next fork in the road, we turn right into Kammerholz, keep going in the same direction and come to the Haberlerkreuz
- We then walk back to Vorau
We recommend a visit to Vorau Abbey and the open-air museum.
